"bepotel lands their most recent EP on their own label, and aptly title it „Startup Label 1”. Following up on a string of tape releases after being invited to appear on labels such as Vlek, Meakusma and Testtoon, they now come forward with a 12” comprised of three disorienting techno tracks. The trio, comprised of Sagat, Walrus and &apos, made a name for themselves as making left-field music without compromises. On here they deliver a mesmerising mixture of driving, subtle techno and cerebral textures. Minimal in nature, yet inviting in its elaboration, these tracks are drenched in sub aquatic sonar fields. Guided by a firm yet not overtly aggressive kick, cascading synth lines occupy the mid-air, oozing in and out along the tracks. The odd clap or recharged bass drum make for a riveting reminder that you’re listening to bleeding edge techno. Sink in."

The title of the track „Impactopium“ reflects the process of its construction being a conglomeration of individual titles meshed into a whole. The audio is a non-linear compendium of several fragments of individual elements. A conscious method of exploring a more decentralised architecture saw three disparate elements layered\u003cspan class=\"bcTruncateMore\"\u003e randomly on top of each other with some synths added as a sonic seasoning at the later stages.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e[...]\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTackling the initial loop tracks from a wide variety of strategic approaches Innode has concocted a strangely cohesive work.
