アンビエント作家SJFが、2025年にリリースしたカセットです。 散髪と彫刻の音をブレンドした穏やかなアンビエント2曲を収録。DLコード付属。一点一点異なるアートワークです。 以下、作家自身による解説です。 "8Bは、30分間のスローダウンへの招待状です。日本の理容ハサミのリズミカルな精密さ、木彫りの忍耐強い敬意、そして音の芸術という三つの工芸の出会いから生まれました。 京都に誕生したユニークな二階建て空間「8B」のオープンを記念して制作された本作は、ケントの理容室（8はハサミを象徴）とカッチャンのアートスタジオ兼工房（Bは「仏師」を意味）が融合した空間で、フィールドレコーディングとアンビエントミュージックを通じて職人技の本質を捉えています。 コラボレーション：京都の名刹に木造仏像を捧げる仏師・カッチャンは、鑿が木を刻むリズミカルな音、砥石が奏でる瞑想的な音といった、制作の息吹を寄贈。ケントは理容ハサミが織りなす優しい打楽器の舞を共有しました。これらの音源が基となり、15分間のアンビエント作品2曲が誕生しました。 SJFはこれらのフィールドレコーディングを広大なドローン風景に織り込み、瞑想と内省に最適な音響空間を創出しました。 静かな環境でヘッドホンを装着し、お香を焚き、ペースを落として熟練の技が紡ぐ美しさを味わうのが最適です。この音楽は、神聖な仏像の彫刻と芸術的な散髪という、伝統によって隔てられながらも変容への献身で結ばれた二つの技芸に共通する「気づきの存在」へと誘います。" SJF · 8B ----------------------------------------------- Includes DL...
