"Tempus of Diminution & Air is Sky, represent the final material to be released from 2012, a particular period in "zoning in to reach out" with home Tascam 4 track cassette recording prior to the first cloudsound releases. Although I recorded a lot of material during 2012, I feel these finalize, encapsulate and close the door on that period."

My battles with gender, known only to me at the time, were also kept completely away from the light, but were beginning to take a heavy toll on my health. Feeling far removed from reality and even my own body, I felt extremely isolated and disconnected. In this dark place I found a lot of inner peace and strength in watching the repetitive cycles of the tide, soaking up every sound, every movement, every feeling and, eventually, reconnecting to myself in a way I never had before. Through this album I discovered the importance of repetitive sound in giving space and structure to my autism. The eight song cycles are repetitive. They start off basic and functional and build over time. They begin with one sound but soon you hear other sounds. From there you get taken to another point, where you hear something else and so on and so forth.
