"Applying elements of minimalism or electronic music to their compositions, Carcascara's second studio album is deeply rooted in folk, blues or jazz. Borrowing from American primitivism, this acoustic guitar trio based half way between London and Zarautz, stretch the boundaries of tradition with a fluid and developed command of the string instrument.
Coming out 14 years after their self-titled debut, highly recommended for fans of Robbie Basho, Steve Reich or John Fahey."

Composed, performed and produced by Carcáscara: Fernando Aguirre, Xabier Iriondo and Iñigo Ugarteburu. Classical guitars, vocals, harmonium, bells, marimba, ukeleles, flutes, synths and field recordings.
Engineered and recorded by Fiona Cruickshank at Snap Recording Studios (London, England) in August 2014.

Harmonium, Synths, Bells, Flutes, Vocals (except "En ese muro de piedra") recorded at home in Zarautz (Basque Country, Spain) by Carcáscara. Outdoor take of Sano Bueltatu Maitia recorded by Fiona Cruickshank and Shelley Uprichard in Getaria (Basque Country, Spain) in July 2014.

He put together the songs and walked around at night listening to them, feeling intense loneliness in the present, but finding comfort in having time to reflect on his past.
