So now, 15 years on from the creation of Bastian Void, I am proud to present these pieces, re-contextualized for this LP release.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRecorded in many different places throughout my twenties, Initials: 2011-2017 charts a course through naive, Casio-led missives, to full tracks written with modular synths. It features my first moments with a Roland Juno-60, SH-101 and Korg Poly-61. One track features a haunted Yamaha keyboard that I found locked in a cursed attic. Some tracks were made in my childhood bedroom, most were made around dingy apartments in Worcester. Some were made in a cabin in the woods of New Hampshire, others were mixed while traveling in Japan.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis album was compiled throughout 2024 and 2025. In one case, I was able to source old files that I assumed were long-gone, thanks to a close friend. Every track has been re-mixed, and most were re-edited for smoother compositional flow. It has been gratifying to fix minor things that have bugged me for years, and to consolidate pieces that I always wished could exist side-by-side. I appreciate the opportunity to revisit these works and press them on vinyl. So now, 15 years on from the creation of Bastian Void, I am proud to present these pieces, re-contextualized for this LP release.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRecorded in many different places throughout my twenties, Initials: 2011-2017 charts a course through naive, Casio-led missives, to full tracks written with modular synths. It features my first moments with a Roland Juno-60, SH-101 and Korg Poly-61. One track features a haunted Yamaha keyboard that I found locked in a cursed attic. Some tracks were made in my childhood bedroom, most were made around dingy apartments in Worcester. Some were made in a cabin in the woods of New Hampshire, others were mixed while traveling in Japan.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis album was compiled throughout 2024 and 2025. In one case, I was able to source old files that I assumed were long-gone, thanks to a close friend. Every track has been re-mixed, and most were re-edited for smoother compositional flow. It has been gratifying to fix minor things that have bugged me for years, and to consolidate pieces that I always wished could exist side-by-side. I appreciate the opportunity to revisit these works and press them on vinyl.
