"Incidentally this cassette confirms a sinister suspicion I've had for a while that the synthetic pan flute is back - fantastic! I feel so lucky for this generous amount of delightfully bubbling synthesizer music from C.D. Noé. A 90 minute exploration of melodic geometry—intricate yet efforless, synthetic yet alive. Melodies ripple, chords shimmer, patterns unfold like a living system in balance. The artist never falls into the sharp-edged maximalism that, at least to my ears, often weighs down instrumental electronic music. Rather it remains throughout the release in the soft bouncing universe, where the melodies unravel in and out of each other in constantly growing patterns. In a year where reality may not quite live up to the optimism of utopian synthesizer music, it may be needed more than ever!"
