In March and April of this year I saw yan jun perform three times, for the first time, and it has changed how I hear the record. I was initially struck by how close everything sounded, and now I have an image of the body to connect to those sounds, it is intensified. On the day this album is released I will see Eric perform for the first time, and I wonder how that will affect listening to 'rely' afterwards.
