The music was made by playing a piano through a series of connected 8-track and reel-to-reel players through a loop made of ¼” tape.

A “Fallen Flag” is a term used by railroaders to describe former companies that merged or went bankrupt. These railroads served as a defining point for many people and places. The names of these railroads signify an era gone by. The artwork on the cassette is based off the Chessie System and one of its predecessors, the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The song titles as well are all companies that no longer exist.

This album is dedicated to all the friends I made while being a volunteer at the Indiana Transportation Museum. - Nick Keeling
