Although itself neither a dry study nor a thorough creative recontextualisation, this work’s methodology draws from both approaches. It finds its own vague, surreal position, largely ambivalent towards human–nature dualism, from which to consider and engage with some of documentation’s familiar dynamics: how documenter and documented are constructed and delineated, made visible, narrated, shown to interact and exchange influence.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe process of the artists reaches across capture (documenter–documented interaction, subject discrimination and isolation, visual composition), post-processing (electroacoustic and electrophotographic manipulation) and textuality (track titles).
