With the spectre of their more recent and stoic ambient works casting a shadow through the operational tics of this latest collection of tracks, the choppy psychedelia teases frenzied abandon with each bristling manoeuvre yet pitches us into the night again whenever light threatens to break. 'Hemliga eldar', 'Huggormen som vilar', and 'Det blåser en vind genom världen, och det har det alltid gjort' model three rudiments in polyrhythm, each curiously stabilised with choral-like backdrops, while the most flustered pieces can be found cut between."
