"[...] Listening to Coat of Arma in full, it truly sounds like an exorcism. Maybe I’m biased. The textures of earlier tracks like “Krietzecoin”, “Jinx Machine” and “Elmer Lang” give us the demonic realities of possession. Disgusting, but extremely evocative. It’s the kind of viscerality that makes you want to drag your nails across your face just to feel human again. Tracks like “KNEEHIGHS”, “2nites the Nite…2 Feel Rite” and “Your Favorite Artista” are where the angelic energies shine through. The demonic tracks are a sort of psychic assault whereas the angelic cuts reel the audience back in, signaling to the greener pastures that lie on the other side of shit mountain. To those who say this is a halfhearted attempt at putting songs from the YESFEST mix on streaming, I say keep your ears peeled for the narrative; tracks recontextualize themselves, new and old cuts alike, telling a story of deliverance; a story lived by MC, Brock, Ricky, and me."

The songs were recorded in a single evening by fellow London-based artist (and adhuman alumnus) Luciano Maggiore, and feature Mackle interpreting them using only his unaccompanied voice. Performed in single takes from memory, the songs are reworked through a vocabulary of gulping, stuttering, mumbled verbiage, pushing the texture of Mackle's voice and the pure sonic qualities of the lyrical arrangements to the fore. Sitting Still for a Living, is his first eponymous work.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eInspired by Mackle's love of traditional folk music, the album comprises performances of songs learned through recordings by The Watersons, Lou Killen, Sam Larner, and Harry Cox. The songs were recorded in a single evening by fellow London-based artist (and adhuman alumnus) Luciano Maggiore, and feature Mackle interpreting them using only his unaccompanied voice. Performed in single takes from memory, the songs are reworked through a vocabulary of gulping, stuttering, mumbled verbiage, pushing the texture of Mackle's voice and the pure sonic qualities of the lyrical arrangements to the fore.
