It is constructed from two field recordings: one made during a walk from Metro Midi towards Adriaan’s home, and another recorded on a walk towards Flagey. Rather than foregrounding recognizable landmarks, the piece focuses on the pavement underfoot: the steady, repetitive rhythm of footsteps on sidewalk tiles.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe recordings are mixed with samples from the music of the Brussels hip-hop group STIKSTOF.
