The songs flirt with 90s alt-rock and punk but refuse to sit still. Vero once again revel in contrast: shifting moods mid-song, letting refrains burst like fireworks, pulling tension until it snaps. Boman’s vocals is a paradox in motion, both breathy and commanding, delicate and sharp, full of texture and control.
