大阪のアンビエント作家km:が、2022年11月に東京のKirigirisuからリリースしたCDRです。以下、作家本人による解説です。

1. font
カセットテープに録ったトラックを多重に重ねた作品。 カセットテープに録ることによる音の変化・ノイズの付与、トラックの重ね方のずれによる偶然性を楽しめるよう作った曲です。
2. movie
映画の予告編の凝縮性・要約性・魅了性が好きで、架空の映画の予告編のような音楽を作りました。
3. bag
クラシックギターの音の重なりを改めて考えて作った曲。
4. base
普段使用している各種楽器の入力端の基底ノイズだけで曲にできないかと作った曲。 本来無入力とされる信号を基に音楽を構成してみたら、それが結果的に偶然波の音のようになりました。
5. day
ギターでよく使われる12フレット、5フレット、7フレットのハーモニクスのみを使い、ある規則に沿って並べただけの作品。 音階の選択・音の並びなどメロディーを生み出す意図をできるだけ排した上で、規則性から偶発的に生み出されるメロディーを楽しんでください。
6. phase
イヤホンやヘッドホンで聴くと大丈夫だけれど、スピーカーで一番良い位置で聴くと聴こえなくなる音楽を目指しました。
7. stereo
L/ Rで完全に分離して、イヤホンで片耳ずつ聴いても共有できない音楽を目指しました。

Artist bio via Kirigirisu Recordings:

"km: lives in Osaka, Japan. He started his solo works from 2011. He tries to make music like movies with his favorite instruments, toys, daily goods and field recorded sounds. He organizes some events: “Hinatamizu Ambience”, “study,drink.” and ”partition”. In addition, he also belongs some bands, units and projects: “matsuri”, “SOGASHI”, “Tablabongu”, ”starry night come again”, “topos”, ”mulusie”, “▽◁▷”, “Tablabongo Kansai", “ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS! | Kyoto Orchest-Lab”. When he brews coffee or holds coffee workshops, he uses the name ”coffee:”.

"vinyl" is the 3rd full album and the first in about 3 years by km:, a musician living in Osaka, Japan. The album contains 7 songs, each of which realises a concept using experimental elements using classical guitars, casiotones, music boxes, cassette tapes, noises and field-recoded sounds with the artist’s own unique texture."

"1. font
This song is made from multitracks recorded on cassette tapes. You can enjoy some changes of the sound and the added noises through it being recorded on cassette tapes and the random effect of different overlapping loop length sounds.

2. movie
I made a song like the trailer of a non-existent movie because I like how they are condensed, summarized and captivating.

3. bag
I think a sound layer of classical guitars again.

4. base
I only used the base noises on inputs of some musical equipment. Basically the signals are recognized as “no input”. So I think it is interesting if I make song with the “no input” sounds. In addition, it sounds like a sound of waves by chance.

5. day
I only used the common 12th fret, 5th fret and 7th fret harmonic tones of a guitar. In addition, I arranged the sounds using a certain rule. Please enjoy the coincidental and unintentional melody arising from the rule.

6. phase
If you listen to this song on earphones / headphones, it's ok. But if you listen to it on speakers in the best position, it doesn’t work. I intended to make this song like that.

7. stereo
I separated L / R sounds of this song completely. So you can not share this song with your friend using one earphone each."
