Description by Loud Door Recordings:

"Andre was born and raised in Wichita until the age of 11, when he moved to Berkeley. He now resides in Oakland. He played all the instruments on this record with no overdubs, often keeping the first or second take. The writing process was improvised, starting with a song length of drums that determined the initial rhythmic direction. This resulted in a unique, stream of consciousness feel that could only come from Andre's mind and spirit. The two songs with vocals, "Mad as a Hatter" and "Faye Quindo" feature previously composed musings from his sketchbook.

Aside from some light equalization during the mixing, this project was recorded analog without the use of a computer. Additional analog mixing and reel to reel tape treatment was utilized in the mastering process."
