Nearly four years have passed since his previous release. In that time, he reached an important milestone in life—becoming a father. While navigating this new chapter, he continued to stay active as a DJ. At the same time, he kept working on tracks in his own room—still just barely safe from being taken over by his son’s toys. This release also marks the label’s 10th title, a milestone that made us reflect on the passage of time. Back then, making records was something completely new for both of us, and we went through the process by trial and error. Now it has become something we’re much more familiar with. In a way, it felt like getting back together in your late twenties with the girlfriend you dated in high school—somehow nostalgic, yet unmistakably a new experience at the same time.
