Edition of 100.

Estlin Usher:

"Tape and granular techniques blend together into irruptive, iterative masses of textured noise caught between sample and synthesis. While listening, the identity of source material is continually presented and disrupted. Creaking hinges and hardware, indecipherable voices, ringing cymbals, bass drums, torn apart into raw slices of abstracted noise. Patterns are carved through the stereo field, reorienting the listener’s focus between dense and shuddering layers. Punishing low-frequency rumble sputtering into pointillist granularity while tape-saturated chords swell into the foreground. The splintered history of power electronics and harsh noise filtered through our contemporary hyperactive virtualization. The sound repeated for effect. The sound repeated like a word caught in the throat."
