過去にIIKKIやLaapsなどから発表しているイギリス・マンチェスターのアンビエント作家the humble beeが、2025年9月にベルギーのアンビエントレーベルdauwからリリースした再発2枚組レコードです。（オリジナルは2010年リリース） テープマニピュレーションによるLo-Fiアンビエントドローン28曲を収録。 ※デジタル音源を無料でお送りいたしますのでお気軽にご連絡くださいませ 以下、作家本人による解説です。 "Dauwから、オリジナル『morning music』のリミックスやリワークを制作し、再発盤に収録してほしいと依頼された時、私は物事が時間と共にどう変化し、変形し、歪み、朽ちていくか、そしてそこに残されるオリジナルの痕跡について考えた。そこで私は『morning music』のオリジナル楽曲を「消去」し、その残された痕跡を新たな消去作品の起点として活用しようと試みた。 最初に『morning music』をデジタル処理・再構成した後、雪や氷、磁石、川の水や泥、劣化したカセットテープやテープシステムなど様々なアナログシステムを用いてこの音源を加工した。最終的にこれらの新たな音源を全て繋ぎ合わせ、カセットのA面とB面を構成する2つの長編オーディオ作品を作り上げた。 消去プロセスの最終段階は、エディションの35本のカセットを複製することで実施された。カセット1は最終マスタリング済みで処理・消去されたロングフォード音源から取り出され、カセット2はカセット1から、カセット3はカセット2から、というように複製が繰り返され、最終的にカセット35はカセット34から複製された。各カセットは、音声情報の損失、干渉、テープの伸びや歪み、その他様々な音声消失の可能性に晒されていた。" レーベルその他作品はこちら /// Click here to...
