‘Yggdrasil’ by G. Strizzolo is an incredible album. I'll refrain from attempting to describe it in words other than to say that it seems to carry a magical ability to induce a state of profound presence as I give myself over to it. Creating the final song for this album together with Guillermo was a lovely experience. After sharing ideas and tuning into the vision behind this work for quite some time, I was getting ready to record a piano improvisation. I recall doing one single take of the whole song and afterward feeling completely empty; feeling that all that was in my heart had been flowing through my hands. It was a sacred experience for me."

The title track actually came from a second batch, because something felt missing.
