"『The Third Room』のキュレーター主導シリーズの第3弾は、現代のクラブミュージックを再構築する新世代アーティストたちの中心的な存在であるVerracoが手がけた。彼のプロデュース作品やDJセット、そしてTraTraTraxでの活動を通じて、ハイブリッドな形態、リズムの実験、異文化間の影響が融合し、このジャンルを新たな領域へと押し広げるサウンドの確立に貢献してきた。

2つの異なるサイドで構成されたこのリリースは、過去と現在を明確に結びつけている。A面はよりディープでクラシックな領域に傾いている一方、B面はより先進的でハイブリッドなサウンドへと向かっている。

冒頭を飾るのは、Substance & Vainqueurによる『Libration (Stone Version)』だ。これは2007年の画期的なリリースを再解釈したもので、今日のダブテクノの語彙を確立するのに一役買ったトラックである。ミニマルでディープ、空間的に精密なこのトラックは、リズム、ディレイ、トーンがどのように機能し得るかの青写真を確立した。ここでの収録は、単に過去へのオマージュというよりは、今なおこのジャンルを形作り続けている基盤を再認識させるものだ。

Skee Maskの『Clear Sky 909』はこの流れを受け継ぎ、深みを失うことなくエッジを和らげている。温かく包み込むようなテクスチャーと滑らかな動きが、このトラックに開放感を与え、明瞭さと情感の重みをバランスよく融合させている。

B面では視点が切り替わる。「Untitled (Teamgeist Mix)」では、Verracoがティルスとタッグを組み、本作のハイライトとなる瞬間を届ける――力強い低音と変化し続けるリズムパターンを基盤に、緻密に構築された密度の高い楽曲だ。テクノ、ベース、レフトフィールド・ハウスの要素が融合し、文化的文脈を積極的に橋渡しする、緻密で前進感のある構造を形成している。その結果、技術的な精度によって形作られながらも、明確な意図によって駆動されるダンスミュージックが生まれ、Verracoの現在のサウンドを鮮明に表現している。

1morningによる『Untitled』は、深い奥行きを感じさせる、トリビュアルな要素を織り交ぜたうねるようなグルーヴを披露し、一方、Regal86による『PatumPa』は、純粋な動きへと傾倒した、ループ主導の明るいエネルギーで本作を締めくくる。

"The third chapter of The Third Room's curator-led series is shaped by Verraco, one of the key voices behind a new generation of artists reshaping contemporary club music. Through his productions, DJ sets and his work with TraTraTrax, he has helped define a sound where hybrid forms, rhythmic experimentation and cross-cultural influences are pushing the genre into new territory.

Structured across two distinct sides, the release draws a clear connection between past and present. The A-side leans into a deeper, more classic space, while the B-side moves towards a more forward-facing, hybrid sound.

It opens with Libration (Stone Version) by Substance & Vainqueur, a revisiting of their landmark 2007 release, a track that helped define the language of Dub Techno as it is understood today. Reduced, deep and spatially precise, it established a blueprint for how rhythm, delay and tone could function together. It's presence here acts less as a nod to the past and more as a reminder of a foundation that continues to shape the genre.

Skee Mask's Clear Sky 909 continues this thread, softening the edges without losing depth. Warm, enveloping textures and fluid movement give the track a sense of openness, balancing clarity with emotional weight.

The B-side shifts perspective. On Untitled (Teamgeist Mix), Verraco, joined by Tils, delivers the record's defining moment - a dense, intricately designed piece built on a driving low-end and evolving rhythmic patterns. Elements from Techno, Bass and Leftfield House converge into a detailed, forward-moving structure that actively bridges cultural contexts. It results in a form of dance music shaped by technical precision, but drive.n by a clear sense of intent, marking a distinct expression of Verraco's current sound.

Untitled by 1morning introduces a rolling, tribal-infused groove with a strong sense of depth, while PatumPa by Regal86 closes the record with a bright, loop-driven energy that leans into pure motion.

Across both sides, the release moves between reference and progression. Rather than separating old and new, Verraco connects them - tracing a line from foundational Dub Techno to a more fluid, contemporary club language. "
