本作は、イタリアのフルクサスこと前衛芸術グループZAJの中心人物Walter Marchettiが、1965-1989年に残ろした音源をコンパイルした4枚組CD BOXです。

180ページのブックレットが付属。

CD1, titled La Caccia, includes 'La Caccia' (1965), 'Adversus' (Home-made electric music) (1966) and 'Osmanthus fragrans' (Home-made electric music) (1973).

CD2, titled In Terram Utopican, includes 'J'aimerais Jouer Avec Un Piano Qui Aurait Une Grosse Queue' (1974/75) and 'Per La Sete Dell'orecchio' (1981).

CD3, titled Natura Morta, includes the piece with the same title from 1980.

CD4, titled Vandalia, includes 'Perpetuum Mobile' (1981), 'Song For John Cage' (1985) and 'Le Secche Del Delirio' (1989).

CD1: The 16-page booklet presents the orginal scores, photos of both the 1965 ZAJ performances and of Marchetti recording "La caccia" in the 1970s, photos of the concert at Galleria Multhipla in 1974, and the reproduction of the original "La caccia" LP layout.

CD2: The 16-page booklet presents the original score of "J'aimerais jouer", photos of the performances in Milano and at the Venice Biennale, and the reproduction of the original "In terram utopicam" LP layout.

CD3: The 8-page booklet reproduces original photos of the performance at Milanopoesia in 1988, as well as the text titled "In my music".

CD4: The 8-page booklet presents the photo of the "Perpetuum mobile" performance at Musicalia in 1981, the score of "Song for John Cage", the photos of two "Musica da camera" installations, as well as the reproduction of the original "Vandalia" CD layout.

Composed Nature by Staalplaat Soundsystem and LOLA landscape architects, is an installation developed for the Centrum voor Beeldende Kunst Dordrecht, consisting of a matrix of 64 trees. Controllable mechanical vibrators are mounted on individual trees and are operated through custom made software. The sound of each tree can vary from a barely audible noise to a heavy ‘Green noise’, thereby offering different sound textures to be played. To play the trees, many spatial sonic patterns have been programmed, and a musical composition titled ‘Shiver Me Timbers’ has been written. ‘Yokomono pro’ by Staalplaat Soundsystem, was originally developed for the Indian Khoj (International Artists Association in New Delhi). This piece questions horn noise as a social sound and communication. The incredible volume and size of Indian traffic and the sounds it produces, was the inspiration for this project. Their communication language seems to be spoken with the horn; signaling with it everything needed, much the way we use indicator lights in Europe. We seek to intercept this phenomenon of car signaling and overlay it within a so-called meaningful structure. 30 auto rickshaws were hired and prepared technically in order to remotely take over control of their horns. This enabled to synchronously play rhythmic patterns as the autos drive along a pre-determined route.
