We invited various musicians including Greg Davis, Ben Vida, Jad Fair, Tara Jane O'Neil, Julie Doiron, Mt. Eerie, I Am Robot And Proud, Sharon Van Etten, Guther, Taylor Deupree, Simon Scott of Slowdive etc. There was a girl who started coming to every concert as an audience member. She was quiet and always left without saying anything after the concert, so I was worried that she might not be satisfied with the content of the concert, but she still came every time. One day, I found out that she was a painter and illustrator named Miho Yamazaki, who works under the name \"daborabo\". When I looked at her illustrations on a website that she had told me about, I found that she had also uploaded some video works. I liked the pictures, which made use of white space and had a bucolic worldview, of course, but I was also curious about the simple keyboard and sounds music that was playing along with the images, so I asked her about it, and learned that it was her own work and that she actually composes music as well. After that, I offered her an appearance at \"nami to kami\" and had her perform, and she manipulated mysterious objects, mysterious dolls, mysterious paints, and films on the spot, projected the images, and played the music herself at the same time. It was a wonderful performance, a visual and auditory expression that expressed the artistry that I first felt in her. It seems that for her, visual and auditory expressions come out at the same time, and there is no doubt that the music itself is inseparable from the illustrations and images she creates. Although she is known to those around her as a painter, perhaps due to her reserved personality, I think that her musical side has been overlooked and underestimated for a long time. Her talent for creating music and drawing with her own methodology and lo-fi approach, (whether it be with electronic music apps on old mobile phones or toy instruments), shows a consistent strength also reflected in her many experiences as a music listener. Naturally, I asked her to make an album, (almost 10 years have passed since then), and now it has finally come together.
