MATSUNOMI TO SENSO:

"Based in the outskirts of Kyoto, ambient DJ SINKICHI creates ethereal sounds.
At the age of 25, he received a KORG MS-20 from a friend and, for the first time, touched an analog synthesizer, quickly becoming fascinated by its unique charm.
Twenty-five years later, during the lockdowns of the COVID-19 pandemic, he found some free time that led him to explore the world of modular synthesizers.
He explored various auction sites, purchased used modular synths, and went through a process of experimenting, testing, and reselling, until he finally managed to assemble a modular system―still incomplete, but functional.
With that system, along with a battery and speakers packed into his backpack, he climbed sacred mountains and performed impromptu sets in front of ancient big rocks.
This album is a record of those performances."
