The release consists of a 9 track cassette and a hand-made wooden box containing a unique sculpture. The tracks alternate between voice pieces and field recordings, where we are immersed in Roberta’s inner and outer world.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eWhile listening to washing machines, walks in the garden and kitchen sounds, the music transports us to different rooms in a home. Abruptly, the thick and yet fragile masses of voices take over and we are taken out of this state and into an abstract train of thoughts. “Indoors” deals with this inner and outer world, jumping from one to the other in an intimate sound experience that encourages us to connect with our own routine and the inner-self.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eRoberta is a Chilean composer and visual artist living in Austria. Her studies include: bachelor's degree in composition in Chile, a master's degree in Composition in Linz, a master's degree in TransArts in Vienna, and exchange semester in Oslo. It was during the exchange semester at the Oslo Academy of the Arts that we met and started working\u003cspan class=\"bcTruncateMore\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e together.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eRoberta works with music, sound art, installation, video, animation, paper art, painting and collage. She is interested in the relationship with the self, our background and the context we live in. In her research she is concerned with the things that are hidden in the repetitive and trivial of everyday life activities.
