My uncle's sudden death left me reeling and thoroughly pushed the boundaries of my understanding of “living”, of “believing”, of “existing”. While I was making this music, I wasn’t thinking about releasing it; it was just something I needed to do because I needed to find places to go. The physical world limits me, society traps me, and tools like sound help me move around into places where I’m able to feel things and see things I need to feel and see that aren’t possible when I’m “here”.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eSometimes the album takes me higher, sometimes it takes me deeper, oftentimes I fall asleep off and on throughout a listen.
