Artist statement by Natsuki Takeda:

"I was sick in bed with a high fever at the end of 2022. New year coming, my fever going down, I left my bed and started playing keyboard on 3rd January. Taking a week off from work, I had a plenty of time. I composed and recorded at a pace of one track a day. My passion for composition continued over the month. At the end of January, I had a collection of tracks for one album. Those compositions, like a diary of the sick days, all have a slight fever, are swaying, and are going back and forth between reality and dream.
In France, January is sometimes called 'accueil mois du blanc', the month of white. It comes from the idea of ​​replacing house linens at the beginning of the year. I thought this name suits the month which brought me a blank period unexpectedly.
Although the linens at my place were neither new nor white, the music born there seems to be wrapped in something white."
