Edition of 80.
"Conceived as an exploration of the interstitial sound of matter, these two brand new tracks by Enrico Coniglio challenge the listener to take a path into the field of the audible and let him acknowledge the marginal possibilities of listen.
Moreover, as its author stated, "this work is about walking bent over through deserted, windy lands, where rocks are sharp and nature is at its peak"...
...Environmental sound recordist and sound artist, Enrico Coniglio is a Venice based composer with an interest in the landscape aesthetics. Graduated in Town and country planning (IUAV), his research aims at investigating the loss of identity of places and the uncertainty about the evolution of the territory, with a particular referral to the context of the Venetian lagoon.
His approach, over the years, has been focused on the relationship between music and its ability to represent the phenomenal reality, especially adopting the term “topofonia” (eng. “topophonia”, the set of native sounds that belong to a given place and a given time, G. Paba) and developing the concept of “margin areas” as a personal analysis tool for the contemporary soundscape."
