"This past April, Tamarisk spent two weeks with shows every night across the east coast and the midwest. We locked into unexpected zones, every set bubbling up from under the earth, the three of us kind of just channels for whatever form that wanted to take. David recorded every set and I'm glad to have that record, just to start to try to understand how the parts fit together. Here are two sets from that tour, Montreal and Brooklyn, Laura Cocks sat in on flute in Brooklyn, a highlight set from this tour. Being in this band has reaffirmed my commitment to playing music in small rooms anywhere that will have me, to the importance of making work in a small community, finding the most out sounds and making them work. Tamarisk is it, the House of the People, Property is Theft."
