"このサウンドカルチャーにおける国際的な共同制作プロジェクトには、11人の作曲家、サウンドアーティスト、キュレーター、作家、パフォーマーが参加している。彼らは2021年3月21日、地球規模の「テレパシー的録音セッション」として、同時に録音機器の電源を入れ、15分間にわたり、互いにつながろうとする試みとして、それぞれの思考、習慣、あるいは周囲の音環境を記録した。編集は一切行われていない。

その結果、世界中で経験された「自己隔離」の一瞬を、極めて親密な視点から垣間見ることができる作品となった。各録音は、日常のルーティンに対する力強い詩的アプローチであり、人工的な声との対話、孤独、旅への憧れ、あるいは退屈といったテーマを扱っている。しかし、これらの芸術的表現は同時に、希望についても語っている。悲劇を皮肉へと転じさせ、パンデミック中およびその先において、身体的・精神的な脆さを受け入れることについても語っているのだ。"

The Asocial Telpathic Ensemble range from (sound) poetry to field recordings and improvised music, but are above all to be understood as discreet parts of a single "telepathic" and ergo jointly created composition. It's an ambitious work that connects the inner world of the participants with the outer world - far beyond those 15 minutes in March 2021.'

Sound artist, composer, vocalist Alessandra Eramo and artist, writer and theorist Brandon LaBelle initiated the Asocial Telepathic Ensemble during the Covid-19 Lockdown in 2021.

This international collaborative work of sound culture brings together eleven composers, sound artists, curators, writers, and performers who simultaneously switched on their recording devices on 21 March 2021 for 15 minutes in a globe spanning telepathic recording session, documenting their thoughts, habits or audio surroundings, in an attempt to connect with each other. No editing was done.

The result is a very intimate glimpse into a moment of self isolation which has been experienced globally. Each recording is a strong poetic approach to daily routine and deals with communicating with artificial voices, loneliness, yearning for travelling or being bored. But these artistic statements are also talking about hope, transforming tragedy into irony, accepting bodily and mental fragility during the pandemic and beyond."

Unfolding across two distinct acts, the Brazilian artist interprets and replicates the complex, often ambiguous sounds of (un)natural environments, creating imaginary systems to inhabit over two sides of tape. The soundscape of the first side and title track is entirely algorithmically synthesized, with no samples used, leveraging Supercollider for real-time sound generation. The environment thus built is a flourishing one, seemingly unable to escape its own grandeur as insect-like buzzing and crackles expands into mountain ranges and forests of erupting sonorous drama. In \"De Silenti Natura,\" Henrique Vaz is meticulously crafting synthetic auditory biomes, sprouting from their own fuzzy logic. Unfolding across two distinct acts, the Brazilian artist interprets and replicates the complex, often ambiguous sounds of (un)natural environments, creating imaginary systems to inhabit over two sides of tape. The soundscape of the first side and title track is entirely algorithmically synthesized, with no samples used, leveraging Supercollider for real-time sound generation. The environment thus built is a flourishing one, seemingly unable to escape its own grandeur as insect-like buzzing and crackles expands into mountain ranges and forests of erupting sonorous drama.
