After releasing a cd and a split album as a group, they became a solo project again in 2013. On their latest release, Sorl, objects, field recordings, and musical instruments are recorded and relayed through heavy treatments on a Nagra reel-to-reel tape recorder; with the help of sticks and picks, lifting and covering up the magnetic medium from the tape heads, rewinding, fast-forward, wow and flutter, hiss and clicks.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eRecorded in the artists' studio or live on tour, the soundtrack of a non-existent film is heard - a naïve experience, never accurate in its reproduction. We'll find ourselves collecting fire-wood in a plastic bag or standing on the station decrypting announcements, climbing the stairs in a vertical neighborhood taking in the local moods, watching a maintenance machine zooming by or the nature program on television.
