Very intimate —it feels that Manami is your old friend and she is whispering you stories or a secret right in your ear. And every story is different—sometimes absurd, sometimes weird and ridiculous, sometimes melancholic, sometimes full of happiness—life as it is. This record is full of freedom— it grows and shines as it is, very flexible and alive. You can definitely feel Manami’s contemporary classical background. But the way she turns it into a pop music is brilliant—instead of making it complicated and abstruse for listeners — she makes it very understandable and friendly. she builds the textures of sounds in space and time with such ease that you start to feel that its all happening in your room and you can relate to every sound and note surrounding you. ❤"
