From the label:

"Aurora Spectralis is the debut release on Superonda and introduces the latest project from Mahatmos, a Rome-based duo emerging from long-standing practices in electronic music, sound design and composition for moving images.

Released on 12" vinyl and digitally, the EP unfolds across four tracks of atmospheric electronic music where ambient textures and slow, insistent rhythms create a sense of continuity and subtle propulsion. Expansive soundscapes open a wide emotional and spatial field, balancing hypnotic structures with restrained movement.

Mahatmos brings together two complementary artistic paths: Gianluca Meloni, active within the techno and experimental music scene (as Laertes and as part of Modern Heads), and Maurizio Loffredo, composer, producer and sound engineer with extensive experience across music production and film composition.

The vinyl edition is conceived as part of the work itself. Alongside the standard pressing, a limited number of custom colour and marbled copies have been produced, each one unique."
