"sei’s voice is of immaculate purity, carrying a fragile grace that always hovers at the very edge. Junichiro Tanaka is, as ever, a perfectionist composer—each piece is astonishingly condensed and refined.
In this degenerate world overrun by replaceable, quasi–automatically generated expressions,
ju sei appears as an angel descending from above, and the knight who protects her.
I once lived by the praise someone gave me—“your film resembles no one else’s.”
I want to dedicate those exact words entirely to them.
