I did not expect the global pandemic in 2020 when I had originally put the record out as a digital only release. I did not predict that one day I would re-release it physically. I did not know that I would ever develop an interest in photography until I got a film camera on a whim in April of 2023. I did not have a particular interest in cars, really. I took an abstract photo of a car hood in black and white after someone suggested I start with simple images. So, I started to make a collection. I walk around a lot because I don't have a car but cars are everywhere. They are so ubiquitous that they blend in with the background noise of the rest of New York City. They are easy to avoid or ignore, and at best, an inconvenience while jaywalking.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eMusic gave me the ability to listen closely and to be present in sound. I often feel like whatever I am working on will be the final version of some idea I have and I am usually wrong. I always feel like I am at the end of some line when I finish a project and as time goes on it is easier to see it as a developing process.
