Some weeks ago, during a trip, they played this “A Mistake by Mistakes” cassette tape compilation, out on that enigmatic Berlin, Neukölln based label Kashual Plastik. Sick folk-not-folk-modern-folk-for-theee-folks music. Edgy. Instantly attractive. Making moments, that briefly make you overcome the atrocities of our time. Emo sharing style. Dreaming fab. Drifting in make-believe. Walking down alleys of mind. It features contemporary psychedelia, folk in acoustic beauty, flickering tape effects, Roger Corman-ish score suspense, loop magic, minimal wave, gamelan tribalism, lo-fi-indie, trip hop, field recordings, Woodsist voodoo, piano crescendos, instrumental guitar visions. Sliding, Gliding. Lots of individuals humming, spoken wording, singing. Melodies in constant change. Melodies for the strange. Twenty-two hallucinations, created by citizens like TRJJ, Beau Wanzer, Wormhook, Orion Music Workshop, Esse Pi Enne, Gil Shani, Drop Zone, Gajek or Who Cares?. Sick folk-not-folk-modern-folk-for-theee-folks music. Edgy. Instantly attractive. Making moments, that briefly make you overcome the atrocities of our time. Emo sharing style. Dreaming fab. Drifting in make-believe. Walking down alleys of mind. It features contemporary psychedelia, folk in acoustic beauty, flickering tape effects, Roger Corman-ish score suspense, loop magic, minimal wave, gamelan tribalism, lo-fi-indie, trip hop, field recordings, Woodsist voodoo, piano crescendos, instrumental guitar visions. Sliding, Gliding. Lots of individuals humming, spoken wording, singing. Melodies in constant change. Melodies for the strange. Twenty-two hallucinations, created by citizens like TRJJ, Beau Wanzer, Wormhook, Orion Music Workshop, Esse Pi Enne, Gil Shani, Drop Zone, Gajek or Who Cares?.
