"内省的な時期にロンドン各地で撮影された『Pulp』は、自宅にて普段着姿の個人、兄弟姉妹、友人、カップル、ルームメイトたちのポートレートを集めた作品だ。その結果生まれたのは、個性的でありながらも生々しく、かつ優しいモザイクのような作品群であり、アイデンティティと親密さが、どちらも儚くも意味深いものと感じられた時代における探求の記録である。このシリーズには、静かな鼓動が流れている。官能的で活気に満ちた被写体たちは、人を惹きつけるエネルギーを放ち、その視線が私たちの視線を捉えて離さない。このプロジェクトは、アーティストが10年以上暮らした街へのラブレターであり、その雰囲気と、その街を特別なものにしてくれた人々を捉えている。フランス人写真家のマキシム・インベールは現在、パリを拠点としている。彼の作品は、ファッション写真、ドキュメンタリー、映像表現を融合させたものだ。セントラル・セント・マーチンズで美術の学士号を取得している（2014年）。2019年には、ダリオ・アルジェントに触発された女性への賛歌である初の写真集『City of Spiders』を自費出版した。彼の作品は、『Dazed & Confused』、『SSAW』、『System』、『Double』、『Re-Edition』などの雑誌に掲載されている。"

"Shot across London during a period of introspection, Pulp gathers portraits of individuals, siblings, friends, couples, and roommates in their own homes, wearing their own clothes. The result is a raw yet tender mosaic of unique personalities — an exploration of identity and intimacy at a time when both seemed fragile yet meaningful. There is a quiet pulse running through the series. Sensual and vibrant, the subjects radiate a magnetic energy, their gaze holding ours. The project is the artist’s love letter to a city where he lived for over a decade, capturing its atmosphere and the people who made it feel special. French photographer Maxime Imbert is now based in Paris. His practice blends fashion photography, documentary, and cinematography. He holds a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins (2014). In 2019, he self-published his first book, City of Spiders, a Dario Argento–inspired ode to womanhood. His work has appeared in magazines such as Dazed & Confused, SSAW, System, Double, and Re-Edition."
