And then; 'A Quiet Awakening', a fully ambient emanation composed of material created years after 'Deep Ground' was already completed, patiently waiting for its season to arrive.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAnd so it did, as Purl's third full-length album, with a sound and aura that has continued to echo across most of the now 58 (!) releases to emerge from this first musical guise of mine.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI will forever be grateful to Jamie McCue for making a home for Purl on Silent Season. There couldn't have been a better one for these misty, shimmery dubs and drones.
