知っていると思っていたことはすべて忘れろ。この新作は、ハイオクタンなサルサ・アルティンの悪魔祓いだ。これはおばあちゃんのダンスミュージックなんかじゃない。まるで、サビの途中で火事になったフライパンのようなミキシング・デスクを通して、倍速で再生された『Waka Waka』のような、熱狂的な夢そのものだ。

Chúpameの狂乱は相変わらず終末的だ。鋭利なサイケデリック・シンセのリフにつまずく、クラシックでハードにスイングするカリブ海のブレイクが、あの特徴的な「壊れた」ボーカルと結びついている――下水溝のように低い唸り声から、ヘリウムを吸い込んだような狂気じみた甲高い鳴き声へと跳び移る。それは痙攣的で重く、歌詞に関しては、彼らがこれまでテープに収めた中で最も冒涜的な代物だ。それは神聖かつ無意味な衝突であり、自分が救われたのか、それとも単に洗脳されたのかと自問させられるだろう。

They aren’t worshipping the dark lord anymore; they’ve found a much more chaotic deity. Please lower your expectations and raise your instruments:

Forget everything you thought you knew. This new record is a high-octane salsa-altín exorcism. It’s not your abuela’s dance music; it’s a fever dream—like Waka Waka played at double speed through a frying mixing desk that’s caught fire mid-verse.

The Chúpame delirium remains terminal. We’re talking classic, hard-swinging Caribbean breaks that trip over jagged psych-synth riffs, all tied to those signature “broken” vocals—jumping from gutter-low growls to manic, helium-choked chirps.
