"Around this time last year, Marc Ertel joined the stage with the PITP brethren James Bernard, zakè, and From Overseas for a live performance at the Gothic Chapel in Indianapolis, US which was eventually released as a limited vinyl LP. Since then, Ertel has been quietly working on new solo arrangements along with new compositions that will be part of an imminent Dawn Chorus and the Infallible Sea record.
Just a few months after the Gothic Chapel performance, Ertel was invited to play a live set at Black Circle. He performed all new material and this album showcases over 24 minutes of this new material. Delicately mixed and mastered by James Bernard at Ambient Mountain House, we are honored to share this work of art with you."

80-90年代に活動していたイギリスのバンドTuuの中心メンバーMartin Franklinと Michael O'Dempseyが、2023年7月に同国発掘系レーベルInfinite Expanseからリリースしたサウンドトラック作品です。 1985-1986年に演劇用に製作したLo-Fiインダストリアル・ドローン〜ネオクラシカル・アンビエント11曲を収録。 ※デジタル音源を無料でお送りいたしますのでお気軽にご連絡くださいませ 以下、レーベルによる解説です。 "歴史的文脈に浸り、不気味なテープ・ループ、フィードバック、80年代のストンプ・ボックス・エフェクトに初期のデジタル・シンセシスをミックスしたサウンドで構成されている。Kolbeは、第二次世界大戦中にアウシュビッツで身代わりに死ぬことを志願したポーランドのカトリック神父の物語である。1941年7月、収容所から一人の囚人が脱走し、副司令官はさらなる脱走を阻止するため、地下壕で餓死させる10人の男を選んだ。選ばれた一人、若い夫であり父親でもあったフランシシェク・ガジョーニチェクが泣き叫ぶと、マクシミリアン・コルベが志願して彼の身代わりになった。当時、用務員の助手だった目撃者によると、コルベは牢獄の独房で、囚人たちに祈りをささげたという。看守がコルベの様子をうかがうたびに、コルベは独房の真ん中に立ったり、ひざまずいたりして、入ってくる囚人たちを穏やかに見つめていた。2週間も飢えと水不足が続いた後、生きていたのはコルベと他の3人だけだった。看守は壕を空にしたかったので、残った4人の囚人に致死注射を打った。コルベは1941年8月14日に死んだ。数年後、彼は1971年に教皇パウロ6世によって信仰の告白者として列福され、1982年には教皇ヨハネ・パウロ2世によって聖人に列せられた。1985年から86年にかけて、制作会社Theatre of Polandは、デズモンド・フォリスタルの著書を基にした劇『Kolbe』をヨーロッパ各地のカトリック教会で上演した。ここで紹介する録音は、ツアー中に販売されたカセットの一部で、ニュージーランドのリッテルトンで回収され、2023年4月にオーストラリアのブリスベンでマスタリングされた。このカセットには、1986年9月にウィンザーのセント・エドワーズ教会で行われた劇場公演のライブ録音や、映画『Tag der Freiheit： また、映画『Tag der...
