"Recorded on 7 December 2024

Grisha Shakhnes was born in Moscow in 1980. His family moved to Israel in 1992, where he has been residing ever since. He has been making music with tapes and field recordings since 2008, greatly reducing the amount of tape recorders and adding amplified objects along the way. Musically, his main interest lies in inherent musicality and emotional load of everyday sounds. For the last couple of years he has been mainly concerned with creating music that is modest and ephemeral, rather than aspiring for greatness and monumental. His music has been released by labels such as Glistening Examples, Unfathomless, more mars, Falt, presses précaires, Organized Music From Thessaloniki, Aloe, Coherent States and more."
