"AnD’s new LP ‘When Stars Collide’ is a conceptual work, spawned at the intersection of granular synthesis, sound design, rhythmic experiments in polyphony and, as the title suggests, the collision of stars.

Drawing from prior engineering experience, the LP extrapolates from mathematical conjunctions in relation to the timing of the collision of stars, the way that time relates to light and how this language is interpreted by satellites. The LP contains something of the colossal indifference of space, white noise, cut-up breaks and minimal synth elements occurring in vacuum mirror the mental events of the listener, giving voice to a parallel unfolding."
