"Anemoia is the first release on my new label project, Editions Glomar, a vanity label of sorts, a way to release music without friction, an excuse to do things with my friends, as most of all of this is.

In the early winter a few years ago, Cody & Nathan spent a couple of days in West Texas. As usually happens, we all set up in the studio and improvised together. There's ambient drift and float here, Doubleness has echos of Thursday Afternoon to my ear. But there's also gnarled textures under there, brittle strings, Nathan's synth speaking to us the basics of synthesis.

This is casual music, life music; sound made with intention within the gaps of living."
