"After several years PISSOIR ROUGE marked his point in the german and even international scene. Located in one of the worse districts from the grey, tough and unpleasant areas that East Germany have to show, everything he has seen, breathed and felt had been materialized with his music. After exploring the redlight-flooded spots and cruelty of the streets with the filthy and dirtyness through the years, it came up to Mad Disgrace. Fighting his own war, not knowing if all this smud is real or right, because its not visible directly... Melting the harshness of Noise and unpleasant coldness of Power Electronics in the shadows of acts like MANIA, GRUNT, ATRAX MORGUE and WHITEHOUSE... Everything good is coming in the end: Its the last album of PISSOIR ROUGE. It took us a lot of tact and energy to convince the artist for releasing the work... When looking at the already sizeable discography, which features entries on acclaimed labels such as Freak Animal, Narcolepsia and Obsessive Fundamental Realism, it is not surprising to see where this appreciation stems from.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe sounds are always well-crafted and full of life, crisp and flow together in nifty arrangements. There is a definitely European nature to the dirt and organic vibe of Rotat's Noise, oftentimes evoking feelings of Smell and Quim, old school Russian metaljunk and maybe even traces of German Noise peculiarities, but ROTAT has so much own identity and drive that it must be described as what it is: a wholly new type of beast. The demented humour the mastermind behind the project utilises tops this feeling off nicely, making this outfit from Finland unlike anything one hears in Industrial Noise nowadays.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe recent full-length \"Disfigured Onanist\" takes all the aspects Rotat is loved (and hated) for and cranks them up a notch.
