ETHERは、身の回りの電磁波スケープを知覚／録音することを可能にする広帯域レシーバーです。単４乾電池2本で動作し、携帯にも非常に便利なコンパクトサイズ73gとなっております。 以下、メーカーによる解説です。 ETHER は一種のアンチラジオです。特定のラジオ局に同調する代わりに、従来のラジオがきれいな信号を作るために排除しようとする干渉や放射線をすべて受信します。特定の放送局の狭い帯域を除くすべての周波数をフィルタリングする同調入力回路がないため、ヘルツからギガヘルツまでの電波を「そのまま」捉えることができます。これにより、ETHERは人間が無意識に作り出した目に見えない電磁波の風景を知覚することができ、電磁波のライブリスニングや録音を可能にしました。このプロジェクトのインスピレーションとして、チューニングホイールを持たないごく初期のラジオ（1900年代初頭）のデザインを取り上げました。当時はまだラジオ局も少なく、すべてのラジオ局がモールス信号を使っていました。それぞれの送信機が固有の音色や「声」を持っていたため、耳で区別することが可能でした。また、電磁波アートのパイオニアChristina Kubischにインスピレーションを受けています。 ETHER はポケットサイズ（103×58×17mm）、軽量（電池込み73g）です。消費電力も少なく、単4形乾電池2本で駆動します。アルカリ電池やリチウム電池をご使用されル場合の寿命は300時間以上です。 ETHERは、意識の高い現代人のためのユニークなアクセサリーとなるよう、デザインにも気を配りました。また、ヨーロッパ製のエンクロージャーと、長い寿命と高い信頼性を提供する高品質の PCBを使用しました。Ether V2 はクールな外観の高品質なガジェットで、ユニークなサウンド体験を提供します。 ETHERは、磁気コンポーネントと電気コンポーネントの両方を搭載しています。磁気コンポーネントには、昔の長波ラジオで使われていたような磁気アンテナを内蔵しています。このアンテナは、ETHERの軸の部分で感度が最大になります。ETHERの向きや角度、位置を変えることで、音を変化させることができます。電気部品としては、PCBにプリントされたアンテナと、本体前面に専用入力ピンが配置されていますETHER V2には、2本の外部アンテナピンがあります。このピンを導電性の素材や表面（ご自身の体も含む）に接触させ、物や自分を大きな外部アンテナとして使うことができます。2本のピンは回路の異なるポイントに接続されており、電磁波との相互作用が異なっています。片方を切り替えたり、両方使ったりすることで、音を変化させることができます。街中から離れた場所では、1～4mのワイヤーを片方のピンに接続すると、興味深いサウンドが発生します。ETHER V2には、サウンドコントロール用のホイールと電源スイッチの2つがあります。上のホイールは、高周波の増幅量と再生量を調整します。下側のホイールはボリュームです。高域のゲインを調整することで、サラウンド干渉のダイナミックレベルに応じてETHERをフォーカスし、最も豊かで興味深いサウンドを得ることができます。ETHERは、インターネットで簡単に見つかるプロジェクトのような、単なる誘導型スニッファーではありません。シンプルな低周波誘導型スニファーは、映像の中で音に溢れているほとんどの場所で無音になります。このようなデバイスは、放射源の近くに置く必要があり、路上では動作しません。含まれているのはコイルと低周波アンプだけです。これに対してETHERは、再生回路と復調器を備えており、単なる低周波磁界の増幅器ではなく、実際に電波を受信することができます。ただし、ETHERは低周波磁界も知覚することができます。しかし、正直なところ、近接した物体（0～20cm）をスキャンすることが目的であれば、帯域が狭く感度が低いため、単純な誘導型スニファーの方がきれいに、集中して動作します。ETHERは、街歩きはもちろん、森や海辺の音も拾えるように設計されています。また、ETHERは放射線の電気成分も知覚することができ、オーディオの範囲をはるかに超える放射線を捕らえ、より感度が高くなります。従って、単純な誘導型スニッファーとは、機能が重複する場合もあるにせよ、設計、機能、実装が大きく異なっています。ETHERは、近接するあらゆる種類のデジタル回路に対して非常に敏感です。そのため、SDカードレコーダーなどは内蔵していません。また、干渉を避けるために、持ち歩く他の電子機器（スマホ、ノートパソコン、レコーダー）を30cm/1ft以上離すようにしなければなりませんが、他のポケットやバッグにスマホやノートパソコンを入れて歩いても、間違いなくETHERはうまく機能します。ETHERの出力は、LとRの接点が並列に接続された通常の3.5mmヘッドフォンのステレオジャックです（ETHERはモノラル出力です）。ETHERを録音するには、ZOOMレコーダーなどの機器と接続するために、1m以上の長さのオーディオケーブルが必要です。 ...
