"Schoon Donker is Marceau Boré first solo album under his real name. Before known as Piano Chat, a solo pop noise project, the french musician has been commissioned to compose a film score for a documentary film by Katrien Feyaerts, Schoon Donker. The film is about two men and a lot of pigeons. One of the men is a famous and silent pigeon-fancier, the other is the director's father. As the pigeons come and go, both men stay stuck in their lives.
Marceau Boré chose to play the saxophone, an instrument he was not familiar with. After a few demos he decided to let play the most technical parts to his friend Paul Cadier a seasoned saxophone player.
The result is an instrumental album alternating aerial and growling tracks, melodic and drones atmospheres.
A sonic experience around breath and winging."

It was then cut, stitched together and reassembled to give shape and restore unity from the fragments, in order to have an album that shows its completeness halfway between the titles and the compositions themselves. Contrary to what it may seem, it is not born from a concept and does not want to be. The titles were chosen in a poetic, almost naïve way, the sounds of these creatures led me to believe that they could be divided into different distinct phases of the day. Despite this, Aiko has been publishing in other forms since 2020, but always within the sphere of ambient music.\"\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\"This album was born as a long-lasting sound continuum. It was then cut, stitched together and reassembled to give shape and restore unity from the fragments, in order to have an album that shows its completeness halfway between the titles and the compositions themselves. Contrary to what it may seem, it is not born from a concept and does not want to be. The titles were chosen in a poetic, almost naïve way, the sounds of these creatures led me to believe that they could be divided into different distinct phases of the day.
