"2023年へようこそ！インターネット上にはHD音質が溢れ、小さなUSBメモリには数え切れないほどの騒々しいヒット曲が収まる。オンデマンドの音楽、大衆を楽しませる使い捨てのツール――トレンドには完璧に追随するが、決して新たな境界を切り拓くことはない。あっという間に制作され、あっという間に消費され、あっという間に忘れ去られる。とはいえ、もし消費主義が現代の常識であるなら、それを乗っ取ってみてはどうだろう？

リヨンを拠点とするレーベル「Dill Dodos Recife」は、4枚のソロEPをヴァイナルでリリースした後、今やカセット市場に参入しようとしている。間もなくリリースされるコンピレーションには、サウンドシステム文化のダブ的なテイストを帯びた、エネルギーに満ち、鋭いサウンドデザインが施されたトラックが収録されている。この6曲入りのV/Aを通じて、様々なオーディオ美学を収集しよう。現代的なサイケデリックが融合したオールドスクールなリディム、コンクレートにインスパイアされたステッパー・フットワーク、トラップやテクノと出会うエモ・マーメイド……
