"Swiss born, Berlin based artist Stallo features his newest release ‘Mifepan’ on Casanova Bar Records.

The EP begins with some pure, deep hypnotic techno in ‘Bleenthal’.
A forceful, rumbling sub-bass reverberates through almost the entire length of the track, creating a firm low-end groove. The dense lows are balanced by a repetitive, sharp pluck, which drifts around, subtly changing its rhythm, locking you into a trance. It’s a captivating track that can shine on its own, whilst being minimal and understated enough to be a functional DJ tool.

Italian DJ, hybrid and live artist Fabio Florido provides a reinvented version of ‘Bleenthal’ that retains the minimal, atmospheric essence of the original, while simultaneously placing the rhythm more prominently at the forefront. The track intensifies during the breakdown, with atmospheric sweeps that gradually encircle you, as if you are falling into a whirlpool, before the beat returns to pull you back out into the groove.

‘Wavoom’ is a commanding and forceful track that pulsates with constant energy and movement. A deep and rich lead sound saturates the sonic space, delivering an overwhelming feeling of power, like gazing into a hypnotic black hole. Many atmospheric elements emerge and dissolve in the background creating a psychedelic ebb and flow that encourages you to close your eyes and let yourself be transported.

Japanese techno legend Takaaki Itoh’s version of ‘Wavoom’ reshapes the cascading heavy lead of the original into a sharper, more rhythmic and bouncy form. Crisp and dynamic percussive elements craft a rolling energy that seamlessly flows alongside the main sound and keeps a driving momentum from start to finish.
