"音楽シーンの動向に敏感な人なら、ブリストルを拠点とするYushhの、きらめきに満ちた、形を変えるようなサウンドに、今回が初めて触れるわけではないだろう。どのダンスフロアも熱狂の渦に巻き込みながら、彼女はここ数年、時間や場所を問わず世界中で活躍し、絶えず進化し続けるブリストルの音楽シーンにおいて、最も重要な旗手の一人としての地位を確固たるものにしてきた。

それにもかかわらず、彼女の最後のソロ作品から、いつの間にか3年が経過していた。失われた時間を埋め合わせ、ついにYushhをTimedanceに迎え、灼熱の5曲入りEPデビュー作をリリースする時が来たのだ。

エイヴォン川のほとりに根ざしつつも、決してそこに縛られることのないYushhのサウンドは、停滞を拒む。ここには型にはまったものは何一つない。その代わりに、各トラックは細部への熟練した感覚を持って動き、精度と直感、ダンスフロアの科学と生々しい感情の間に稀有なバランスを保っている。天性の才能で、彼女は低音域の圧力を、まるで空中に浮遊するかのようなものへと変容させる。重厚なサブ周波数は、身体的でありながらも捉えどころのない無重力感へと溶け込んでいく。これは、断言であると同時に問いでもある。音楽は、これほど強烈に響きながら、なぜ重力の法則を超越して浮遊しているかのように感じられるのだろうか？

『Full Body AXY』と題されたこの新作EPで、Yushhは独自の言語でその問いに答えている。そこでは緊張と解放の境界が曖昧になり、音は密度と軽やかさの間で揺らめき、ダンスフロアは身体を主軸とした探求と、宙に浮いたような感情のカタルシスの両方を叶える空間となるのだ。"

"If you’ve been keeping your ears to the ground, chances are this won’t be your first encounter with the glistening, shape-shifting sounds of Bristol-based Yushh. Leaving no dancefloor untouched, she has spent recent years shelling it across the globe, regardless of time or place, cementing her status as one of the most vital flag-bearers of the ever-evolving Bristol continuum.

And yet, somehow, it has been three years since her last solo outing. Time to make up for lost time, and to finally welcome Yushh to Timedance for a searing five-track EP debut.

Rooted in the banks of the Avon but never bound by them, Yushh’
s sound resists stasis. Nothing here feels formulaic. Instead, each track moves with an expert sense of detail, striking a rare balance between precision and instinct, dancefloor science and raw emotion. With a natural flair, she bends low-end pressure into something almost airborne. Heavy sub frequencies dissolve into a feeling of weightlessness that is both physical and elusive. It is a question as much as a statement: how can music hit this hard and still feel like it floats beyond the rules of gravity?

On this new EP, entitled “Full Body AXY”, Yushh answers in her own language, where tension and release blur, where sounds flicker between density and light, and where the dancefloor becomes a space for both body-centric exploration and suspended emotional catharsis."
