"…The title ‘Succes De Scandale’ refers to, ‘the success of art due to its scandalous nature rather than its artistic value.’ What, I wonder, is the intention behind such a title? If TNB’s live performance represents the scandalous nature of destruction rather than an artistic value of the ‘music’ then such a title is masochistically ironic.
'Succes De Scandale' reminds me of TNB’s early works and is proof that TNB have not changed their original nihilistic stance as outlined in their manifesto of 1982.
Although it is a shame that 'Succes De Scandale' is limited to only 100 copies, hopefully all who are lucky enough to hear it will enjoy the unmistakable uniqueness of TNB's sound.’"

A member of the Skam circle of atavistic beat freaks since the late 90s, Knapp’s sound is that of hyperattentive electronica buried under soil and left to decay (or ferment).
