From the label:

"Lily Juniper’s debut album, ‘Bloom Gloom’ is set for release in September 2026 via Friends of Friends. Co-written and produced by long term collaborator and partner yours.truly, the record holds a mirror up to ourselves and the world around us. Inspired by sounds of the early 2010’s post dubstep and indie scenes and written with feelings at the forefront, the album explores themes of self discovery, nostalgia and the endless battle between light and dark, with each track telling a story of what it means to be human.
‘I’ll be turning 30 as this record comes out, which feels like a really poignant way to close the chapter on the past 10 years - for me it has felt like a decade of extended childhood. In getting older and happier, I’ve also gone to deeper and darker places. Trying to grow and find a sense of inner peace in a world that feels more confusing and sad than ever. There’s light, there’s dark. There’s bloom, there’s gloom’."

Together, the trio blur the boundaries between improvisation, composition and sound sculpture, creating music where melody and conventional pulse give way to vibration, overtones and physical resonance. Patient, uncompromising and quietly hypnotic, Parallel Commutator unfolds as a continuously shifting sonic environment, extending CZN's ongoing exploration of percussion as both physical material and compositional force."

Artist : CZN

Label : Oath

cat no : ORATOR001

Release date : 16th October 2026
"}

As a basis he composed four new pieces which move between different sonic registers, and asked likeminded experimentalists Skee Mask and Clark for exclusives “Flip” and “Clonk Dual”, using these as coordinates to map out the mix.

Rather than get into the painstaking headspace he used for building tracks, he let himself take the free, first-thought-best-thought feeling of DJing into the studio, knowing that the cerebral work had already gone into the track selection. He mixed vinyl live, then chopped up those mixes, collaged and overdubbed them, conscious of not trying too hard, but working it until it felt right.

Ambient and breakcore, classical and punk, deep acid and chaotic percussion flow into a river of sound on this mix. It has the kind of elegance that only someone who’s put in billions of sweaty rave moments holding utter chaos just in check can manage, it joins together things that should never work with uncanny perfection, and then moments later knocks you sideways with a ragged cut or foolish sample.

You’ll never quite know if this is the DjRUM of the lawless derelict building party full of punks and freaks, or the DjRUM who will sit at home sculpting a single minute-long string ensemble recording until it perfectly matches his conceptual vision. Because, of course, it’s both, the whole time and his DJ-Kicks mix connects these two modes of expression. He was always both, and on this mix, he’s shed both skins, and – once again – become himself."

Artist : Djrum

Label : !K7 Records

cat no : K7454CD

Release date : 16th October 2026
"}
